Job summary

Wearable X in New York City is seeking a creative, organized intern for a 3-month program combining design, fashion, and wearable technology. The role includes assisting in product development, research, content creation, and day-to-day project support within a small team.

You will attend sample reviews, fittings, shoots, and events, and collaborate with the CEO to develop creative campaigns, track performance, and help manage social media assets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in design, fashion, engineering or communications.
• Highly organized and reliable; able to meet deadlines.
• Creative and comfortable sharing design feedback.
• Independent worker who can learn new tools quickly.
• Strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in assistive design, fashion tech, health or wearables.
• Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, creative engineering, and product analysis responsibilities.
• Support adaptive sample needs.
• Assist in community management on social platforms.
• Ideate and help create content for social posts and campaigns.
• Help track and analyze social content performance.
• Monitor competitor activity on social media.
• Help prepare for photo shoots and events.
• Prepare campaign briefs aligned with analytical strategy.
• Ensure assets are produced on time.
• Provide asset direction from analytical findings.
• Collaborate with marketing team to improve email program.
• Support other administrative tasks.
