Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of college plus classroom experience.
• Ability to develop constructive group relationships and creative teaching.
• Willingness to facilitate learning and be creative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adhere to yearly, unit, and daily lesson plans in relation to the Academy’s goals and students’ abilities.
• Provide hands-on learning activities and encourage critical thinking.
• Develop and implement in-house evaluation tools to measure student achievement.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration.
• Be sensitive to student needs and provide appropriate activities.
• Refer students to specialized services when needed (Title I, accelerated learning, etc.).
• Participate in Academy decision-making as a team.
• Treat students and parents with dignity and respect.
• Provide intellectual stimulation and emotional support, fostering a conducive learning environment.
• Join staff training and fulfill duties assigned by leadership.
