Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Creative Studio Manager in Las Vegas to lead a pool of senior designers, designers, and production artists, ensuring on‑brand, on‑time creative output. You will manage daily workload, mentor a growing team, and align design capacity with shifting business priorities.

The role blends strong operational leadership with hands‑on creative contribution, maintaining brand standards and guiding production across MGM Resorts’ high‑volume environments.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive graphic design and production experience in high‑volume creative environments.
• More than two years of direct people management experience mentoring designers and production artists.
• A master of visual storytelling with a portfolio showing brand systems and multi‑channel production.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shared pool of 10+ designers and production artists, balancing workload and capacity.
• Oversee daily quality control for on‑brand, accurate creative output before delivery.
• Coach and develop the team with regular feedback, performance reviews, and growth plans.
• Staff workload intake from Creative Strategy and Creative Studio, assigning tasks by skill and priority.
• Step in as a senior designer when needed, providing hands‑on design and production support.
• Forecast capacity with senior leaders and recommend freelancers when in‑house capacity is exceeded.
• Maintain studio standards, version control, asset libraries, and brand guideline adherence.
