About the Role
Do you enjoy finding ways to make the complex, simple? Do you enjoy the blend of art and science that a role in strategy can offer? And are you energized by the chance to inspire, build and sell brave ideas to a wide range of clients looking to engage consumers via their passion for soccer? If you answered yes to these questions, we have a role for you!
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Creative Strategist based in our New York office, to join our exciting and expanding team and supercharge our output. We’re looking for a strategist who’s plugged into the cultural zeitgeist, and understands soccer’s powerful adjacencies, instinctively knowing how the sport collides with fashion, music, art, gaming and more. Can you step outside of your own fandom to analyze macro trends, constantly anticipating the future of audience consumption and digital behavior? Are you confident enough to not just pitch what brands think they want right now, but craft bold concepts, rooted in insight, that give them exactly what they need to authentically embed themselves in modern culture.
The strategy team sits at the heart of our business, working in partnership with sales, creative, content and client services teams to raise the value of Footballco’s content output and deliver creatively brilliant, and effective, campaigns for our partners and drive meaningful engagement with our audience.
As part of the strategy team, you will support sales teams to identify and win commercial opportunities, collaborate with the content and creative teams to create branded content packages and create Footballco brand IP concepts to build audiences. You’ll offer an innovative and compelling approach to how we show up in the marketplace and proactive thinking to shape our positioning narrative and collateral.
We’re looking for a Creative Strategist who has a firm grasp on what true insights are, how to find them and the change they can create. Someone who can find gold in data sets, look for signals from social platforms, commission meaningful audience research and use all of this to help create best-in-class branded content campaigns.
The successful candidate will have the ability to think calmly and creatively under pressure and question perceived wisdoms in the drive to find the best solution. You will be expected to be comfortable dealing with senior client contacts and collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders within our own business.
You’ll be joining a team with a start-up mentality, hungry to create and execute top class soccer partnerships and grow the sport in the U.S. This is your chance to be part of something very special.
