Job summary

Center for Responsive Schools seeks an experienced Social Media Designer to conceptualize, design, and produce compelling content for social channels and the website. You will drive visual storytelling, ensure assets align with campaigns, and collaborate with marketing and creative teams to boost engagement.

The role requires strong design skills, video production ability, and knowledge of current trends. A digital portfolio and ability to storyboard are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing
• 2+ years of portfolio-proven experience in design for social media and marketing
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro/After Effects).
• Proficiency with Canva, Figma, and quick-turnaround design tools
• Strong knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media platforms

Responsibilities

• Design custom social media graphics, carousels, infographics, stories, reels covers, and ad creatives for Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube.
• Adapt assets across digital and print formats; capture/edit short-form video and photography.
• Maintain social media content calendar around product drops, campaigns and events.
• Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and audience preferences.
• Collaborate with Copywriters, sales, website admin, and developers to align visuals with goals.
• Plan and produce videos/storyboards and script content for various formats.
• Plan, film, and edit engaging video content for online channels and website.
• Use Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro, and After Effects for post-production; add motion graphics and color grading.
• Format videos for platform-specific requirements and manage video asset library.
• Other duties as assigned; travel or weekend work may be required.
