FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock in Pooler, GA is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer/Sign Production Specialist. You will create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl outputs, prepare substrates, and ensure designs meet production requirements.

You should have 1–2 years in sign production, be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and be able to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds. The role emphasizes attention to detail, autonomy, and high-volume output.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in sign production.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4+ hours).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl output for printing and mounting.
• Modify designs from customer drawings or files for output to media.
• Determine size, layout, and type selection based on space and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before output; ensure correct material and settings.
• Maintain customer logo library; manage pre- and post-production standards.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl and execute layout techniques for various substrates.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform quality assurance checks before and after production; proof for errors.
• Finish by laminating and/or mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels to the center/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
