Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Creative Services Intern for Summer 2027 in a hybrid setup within commuting distance of the Delaware office. You will support design, branding, and communications across employee, customer, and community channels.

You will gain hands-on experience in graphic design, project coordination, and visual storytelling using PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite, contributing to newsletters, social posts, and storm-event materials.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Interest in communications, design, and branding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with graphic design projects, including presentations, digital assets, and print materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Create visuals for internal and external communications such as newsletters, social media, and promotional campaigns.
• Support data visualization projects by designing charts, infographics, and presentations that simplify complex information.
• Help coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors while tracking timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain organized files of design projects and final artwork for easy access.
• Contribute to communication efforts during storm events or other emergencies by developing timely visual materials.
