Job Description

Surface Experts of San Francisco North is hiring a tech to focus on our growing low-impact bathtub and sink refinishing business, in addition to learning many of our spot repair techniques to support the broader business. We do NOT spray refinishing glaze. Our roll-on method minimizes the impact to the unit, resident and the technician.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and preparing tubs (cleaning, removing old caulking, sanding away old glaze, masking), applying glaze and re-caulking, and leaving the space better than we found it. Most tubs take between 2 and 3 hours to complete.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work independently - driving to job locations, meeting with property maintenance teams, and performing work.
• Some experience in services/trades
• Strong English language speaker
• Comfortable wearing a face respirator for extended periods
• Attention to detail and service minded
• Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs, and kneel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tub reglazing or installation.
• Experience working in facilities maintenance.
