Job summary

Nen Creative is seeking a Creative Recruiter to identify, source, and screen top talent across video production, motion, and design. You’ll partner with leadership and the production team to build a stronger hiring pipeline and scale the company with a creative-first approach.

You will help refine job postings, coordinate interviews, and manage relationships with high-potential talent for both freelance/contract and full-time roles in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of creative industries, including video production, motion design, branding, or digital design.
• Strong creative judgment and ability to evaluate portfolios and reels.
• Comfortable speaking with creative talent and assessing fit beyond technical skill alone.
• Experience recruiting for creative, agency, startup, or production environments preferred.
• Self-directed and able to operate independently.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing tools & AI to improve workflows.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify creative talent across production, animations, cinematography, editing, design.
• Review portfolios, reels, resumes, and past work to help identify strong candidates.
• Conduct initial outreach, screenings, and introductory interviews.
• Help organize and improve our hiring process, candidate pipeline, and recruiting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to understand hiring needs, skill gaps, and role requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, feedback, and candidate communication.
• Help proactively build relationships with high-quality creative talent before hiring needs become urgent.
• Assist with writing and refining job postings and recruiting materials.
• Support both freelance/contract and full-time hiring efforts.
