- Demonstrated success sourcing and recruiting high-performing design talent within apparel, fashion, or retail organizations.
- Knowledgeable in sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and talent mapping methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for Design, Technical Design & Production positions, from intake through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and quickly deliver qualified candidate slates.
- Conduct extensive direct sourcing, networking, market mapping, and competitive talent research to uncover passive candidates.
- Generate candidate flow through proactive outreach, referrals, industry networking, social recruiting, and talent community engagement.
- Screen, assess, and present candidates with a focus on New York Design Office based roles.
- Portfolio Review: review design portfolios with a discerning eye, assessing skill, potential and brand alignment.
- Build and maintain active talent pipelines across Fashion Design, Technical Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, Print & Color, CAD Design, Production functions.
- Act as an industry talent advisor to our internal team: stay current on industry trends, key competitors, talent movement, and emerging design talent.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Recruit within other areas of the business as needed.

- Knowledgeable in sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and talent mapping methodologies.
- Experience working within an ATS system preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced, nuanced environment.
- Strong candidate assessment, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work a hybrid in office schedule - average 3 days in office a week.

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
