POSITION SUMMARY:

The Creative Project Manager role is both strategic and organizational: ensuring creative projects move smoothly from brief through production to launch, across multiple stakeholders and channels. This role works closely across the creative and marketing teams and will report into the Creative Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Planning & Scoping
  • Translate marketing and eCommerce campaign briefs into detailed creative project plans.
  • Define deliverables (assets, formats, copy needs), timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with brand managers, media teams, and eCommerce partners to align creative asks with campaign strategy.
Workflow & Process Management
  • Own the creative production timeline from kickoff to delivery.
  • Assign and manage tasks across designers, copywriters, producers, and external agencies.
  • Ensure assets are created in all required versions for omnichannel business (Amazon, DTC, Retail, Wholesale, etc.).
  • Track progress in Asana.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the liaison between Brand Marketing, eCommerce, and Creative teams.
  • Facilitate alignment on creative direction, messaging priorities, and compliance requirements.
  • Consolidate stakeholder feedback and manage revisions while keeping projects on track.
Creative Quality Control
  • Ensure creative outputs are on brand, on strategy, and channel-compliant.
  • Oversee QA for accuracy in product imagery, claims, and disclaimers.
  • Maintain brand consistency across different customer touchpoints.
Asset Management
  • Build and maintain an organized library of campaign assets for future use.
  • Manage versioning and channel-specific adaptations (size, copy restrictions, file requirements).
  • Ensure final creative is properly archived and tagged for easy retrieval.
Budget & Resource Oversight
  • Track creative project budgets (e.g., agency fees, freelance designers, production costs).
  • Forecast resource needs and flag capacity gaps in the creative team.
  • Support vendor management and contract deliverables.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with eCommerce and analytics teams to review performance of creative in-market.
  • Incorporate learnings into future creative briefs and production processes.
  • Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement process improvements.

QUALIFICATION:

  • 7-9 years of experience in brand management, content/creative management, advertising and/or marketing management
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Creative Trafficker, Creative Project Manager or similar role in CPG or similar industry
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in creative software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, project management software, etc)
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication skills
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and creative work environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias towards action
