Job description

As an immersive design studio, we’re in the business of storytelling, bringing brands to life through the senses.
From the outside, we’re a creative powerhouse, pairing strategic design with production expertise to flawlessly execute next level experiences. Inside, we’re a radically compassionate company, burning down traditional agency norms by centering people and giving creativity the space and support to thrive. We value emotion over information and people over profits, tenets that permeate every project we unleash on the world.
We spark curiosity, foster community, and inspire action with the potency of a pinch.

Position Overview

We're seeking a Creative Production Manager to own the operational execution of the graphics production pipeline across experiential programs.

This role bridges Creative and Production - ensuring design intent is translated into organized, technically accurate, production-ready deliverables while maintaining quality, visibility, and momentum throughout the project lifecycle.

Unlike traditional Project Management, this role is not responsible for client management, budget oversight, or overall program delivery. Instead, the Creative Production Manager specializes in coordinating graphics development, managing production workflows, and partnering with Creative, Account, and Production teams to successfully transition creative concepts into fabrication-ready assets.

This individual thrives in highly collaborative environments, brings exceptional organizational rigor, understands the realities of experiential production, and enjoys solving complex operational challenges without compromising creative excellence.

Skills & Expertise

  • Own the graphics production workflow from design development through production handoff
  • Build and maintain graphics trackers, asset inventories, deliverable schedules, and production timelines
  • Coordinate graphics milestones across Creative, Production Artists, and Print Production groups
  • Drive visibility into graphics status, dependencies, risks, and upcoming milestones
  • Ensure all graphics deliverables remain aligned with project priorities and production timelines

Production Readiness & Quality Assurance

  • Own the graphics quality control process from creative development through production handoff
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance checkpoints throughout the graphics lifecycle
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews between Creative, Production Artists, and Print Production to validate artwork prior to release
  • Ensure graphics packages are complete, approved, technically accurate, and production-ready before fabrication begins
  • Manage version control, revision tracking, file organization, and release documentation
  • Identify and proactively resolve quality risks to minimize downstream revisions, production delays, and onsite issues
Production Artist Coordination
  • Coordinate the day-to-day workflow of Production Artists throughout project execution
  • Partner with Creative leadership to prioritize work, balance workloads, and maintain alignment with creative intent
  • Ensure artwork is developed to required production specifications without compromising design quality
  • Facilitate communication between Creative, Production Artists, and Production teams throughout graphics development

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the operational bridge between Creative, Account, and Print Production throughout the graphics development process
  • Translate evolving creative decisions into organized production workflows
  • Coordinate asset requests, approvals, dependencies, and graphics deliverables across disciplines
  • Surface operational risks early and facilitate cross-functional problem solving
  • Maintain alignment between creative development, production readiness, and fabrication schedules

Core Competencies

  • Exceptional organizational and operational leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of experiential design, environmental graphics, and creative production workflows
  • Strong knowledge of production artwork, technical specifications, production file preparation, and version control
  • Ability to manage large volumes of creative assets across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in fast-paced agency environments
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Solutions-oriented with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong ability to balance creative excellence with operational efficiency
  • Passion for building scalable creative operations and improving production processes
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while driving clarity and accountability

Onsite Responsibilities

  • Partner with Creative and Salt Production teams to ensure graphics installations remain aligned with approved creative intent
  • Oversee onsite graphics quality assurance, validating installations against approved creative and production documentation
  • Coordinate graphics revisions, replacement assets, and production adjustments as necessary

PINCH’S CORE VALUES + YOU:

  • Joy Begets Creativity: In the heat of the project, can we find moments of fun and levity? When stressed, anxious about succeeding, or frustrated with process, good ideas are hard to come by. Great ones, nearly impossible. You help contribute to a creative and positive work environment by being collaborative, open to ideas, and treating team members with respect.
  • Go Beyond the Ask: At face value, many projects seem destined to produce uninspiring results. We ask ourselves, can the core goals be hijacked –hopefully with a core client as an accomplice– to ensure we can create stories that are interesting, cool, or even fun. Let’s give clients what they need, but are unable to articulate and opening them up to possibilities that they may not have imagined. You help facilitate this discovery process by pushing the work by being inquisitive, keeping yourself up-to-date with cultural trends, and expressing your point of view.
  • Never Arrive: Stagnation kills creative (and companies). Brands need to grow and evolve, teams need to grow and evolve, companies need to grow and evolve. Can we push ourselves and our clients to stay ahead of the current, to realize that success always needs to evolve beyond what we know or feel comfortable with. You contribute to the growth and success of the team by holding yourself to a high standard of excellence and taking risks.
  • Human Beings Feelings: “ Feel Something.” A fundamental need for human beings is to connect with something that feels magical and special. This comes through moments which move us emotionally, and separate us from daily concerns. You keep Pinch accountable to its values by keeping our “why” at the forefront of your work.
