The Michaels Companies Inc. in Framingham, MA is hiring a Store Associate to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, and to provide a fun, engaging guest experience.

You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout while upholding store standards. Responsibilities include event add‑ons, client communications, and supporting omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children and children’s events is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within the Michaels store, including kids birthday parties.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in locating products.
• Ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience and maintain store recovery standards.
• Assist with event add-ons, party materials, and communication with clients and team members.
• Handle administrative tasks such as emails and phone calls as needed.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS) and daily store operations.
