Job summary

Littleton High School, part of Littleton Public Schools, seeks a Drama Assistant Choreographer to create and refine choreography for the annual musical. You will teach and guide students, collaborate with the Director and Music Director, and lead rehearsals to ensure a cohesive production.

Expect to rehearse with the cast 2–3 times weekly starting the week of Jan. 4, 2027, and be present during ALL production week rehearsals (March 1–6, 2027). A CBI background check is required to hire.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to choreograph musicals or theatrical dance numbers.
• Ability to teach choreography clearly to students of varying skill levels.
• Strong understanding of musical theatre dance styles and staging.

Responsibilities

• Create original choreography for all dance sequences in the school musical.
• Teach choreography to students with varying levels of experience.
• Adapt choreography to be developmentally appropriate, safe, and inclusive.
• Attend and lead choreography rehearsals as scheduled.
• Teach and review choreography to build student confidence.
• Coordinate with stage management on spacing and transitions.
• Participate in tech week and final performance adjustments.
• Communicate with Director and Music Director to align vision.
