Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and may have memory care experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferable one-year memory care experience.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individual, small and large group activities.
• Assist in communicating between staff, residents, families, and others to meet needs and interests of residents.
• Assist in community planning related to senior living services and residents' needs.
• Develop monthly activity calendar and maintain attendance records.
• Implement actions to correct quality deficiencies as requested by supervisors.
• Arrange transportation for residents to appointments or outings.
• Develop monthly activity schedules including outings and in-room activities.
• Encourage resident participation in self-initiated activities and provide materials.
