The University of Utah Marketing & Communications seeks a full-time videographer/editor who can shoot with high production values and edit into compelling final videos. Expertise in on-set lighting, sound, and camera operation is essential; drone work and After Effects help are a plus.

The University Utah Marketing & Communications team is looking for a full-time, seasoned videographer/editor to fill an open position on our video team. We are looking for someone with high-production standards and tastes who can shoot beautiful footage and then turn that into a well-crafted edit and final videos. You must be adept with on-set lighting, sound and the technical aspects of running a camera. We are also looking for someone who can take direction, be collaborative, and who enjoys working hard.
The University has many stories to tell and we produce many videos a year. This requires us to sometimes work odd hours at times, weekends and put in the extra effort to create great work. We are proud of the videos we create and need a person who will contribute to our ongoing success and even elevate it.
In addition to the skillsets mentioned, being a drone pilot would be a plus. Knowing your way around After Effects and motions graphics is also helpful. Pay Rate Range: $65,000-$75,000
