Role: Creative & Marketing (US) - Social Media Manager 3
Location: Remote (PST Work Hrs)
Duration: 6+ Months
What You Ll Do (Roles & Responsibilities)
Create strategies to grow our brand awareness and execute and oversee the management of the community
Work with internal departments and business stakeholders to define, develop, and execute community-related initiatives
Engage with our community members regularly and identify rising trends as opportunities for improvement
Devise a strategy to increase brand exposure with the community and the public through online content
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of community outreach programs and strategies
Create focused campaigns to drive community engagement towards our project
Build relationships by communicating with existing clients/users/customers, industry professionals, and community members
Who You Are:
You are an experienced and passionate community manager who has familiarity with technical audiences and open source communities
You are an excellent communicator and can move between different platforms with ease: from Slack to GitHub to LinkedIn to Email.
You build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure consistency of output across an organization s community program, and ensure all business efforts consistently reflect that strategy.
You are curious about new subjects and love to talk to your community about their activities. You build rapport
You are creative, and always look for ways to bring the unexpected, delightful, never-been-seen-before angle to both large and small community experiences for open source practitioners
3 5 years of experience in open source community management role
Minimum Requirements (Required Per OFCCP Compliance)
3 Yrs Experience in community management
1+ year of experience in LLM or GenAI tools
Preferred Requirements (Required Per OFCCP Compliance)
Background or knowledge of agentic tools and capabilities
Comfort and familiarity with GitHub and Slack
