Flexibility in schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate has proven line cook experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication. A high school diploma and culinary/safety certifications are preferred. Health and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Formal culinary education or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, baking and nutrition.
• Good communication with guests and staff.
• Physical stamina for long hours standing.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Create and design new and unique menu items.
• Assist in establishing department budgets and adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served to hotel standards.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper operation through inspections and maintenance programs.
• Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations governing kitchen areas, staff, and guests.
• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production in designated outlets.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
