Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare menu items, execute daily specials, and help develop new offerings while maintaining high quality and guest satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate. You should have at least 6 months in a fast-paced production setting, basic cooking skills, knife handling, and a willingness to obtain state food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18+ years old and able to obtain state food safety certification.
• 6+ months experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills; sanitation and safety procedures.
• High school diploma preferred; general kitchen knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintains proper food handling and safety procedures for all products in station.
• Prepares, produces and presents menu items.
• Coordinates selling of single out tickets from the station.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set.
• Prepares and stocks needed product and supplies.
• End-of-shift cleaning, breakdown and station maintenance.
• Cleans and maintains station with safe sanitation practices.
• Operates and maintains equipment in station.
• Assists with kitchen and storage area cleaning and organization.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Brew House Manager.
