Job summary

CMTA Lighting, a CMTA business unit, seeks a Lighting Designer with 2–3 years of professional lighting experience. The role focuses on supporting the design team, developing creative lighting concepts, and documenting designs using Revit, AutoCAD, and AGI.

A strong portfolio and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite are required. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Interiors, or Architectural Design and be able to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in lighting, interiors, or architectural design is required.
• 2–5 years of hands-on lighting design experience and a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with Revit and AGI is required; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing clear, dynamically illustrated lighting design presentations.
• Develop innovative lighting concepts tailored to client requirements.
• Document designs using Revit and AutoCAD with accuracy.
• Create lighting plans and visuals using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Use AGI to photometrically model and test designs.
• Build mock-ups to validate lighting conditions and materials.
• Contribute to on-site evaluations and provide improvement recommendations.
• Stay updated on lighting trends and sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects.
