Creative Lead - UI/Graphic Designer (Hybrid: Onsite and Remote)

The Creative Lead - Graphic/User Interface Designer plays a pivotal role in bringing innovative ideas to fruition from conception through completion. You will use the creative direction to deliver industry-leading content activations for US Foods and its brands, platforms, and initiatives, in alignment with established category strategies that exceed expectations and position US Foods as an industry leader.

Work Arrangement: This position is hybrid, combining 3 days onsite in Rosemont, IL (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Lead, establish, manage, and inspire the creative direction for projects, ensuring alignment with client, brand, and business objectives.
  • Think conceptually and strategically to solve design and technical challenges, producing on-strategy, on-brand solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate within a team, embracing feedback from ideation to execution.
  • Mentor junior team members for workload balance and career development.
  • Guide the creative team regarding client’s business and marketing needs.
  • Execute across various brand touchpoints, including print, digital, motion, and environments.
  • Stay current with design trends and technological advancements, proactively identifying new capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision
  • No direct reports; delegates resources to achieve project goals.
Relationships
  • Internal: Category Management, Marketing, Creative
  • External: Vendors, Suppliers, Agencies, Contractors
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in graphic design or a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier, Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS, Salesforce email platform, and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and project planning.
  • Highly organized and creative.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Up to 10% overnight travel may be required.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Food and beverage photography and art direction experience.
Physical Qualifications
  • Standard physical activities required.

This role includes an annual incentive bonus. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, disability, stock purchase plans, and life insurance. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and location.
