Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a Landscape Designer II/III for our Greensboro, NC office. The role focuses on design and technical production, collaborating with project managers, and preparing landscape plans, 3D renderings, and specifications.

The ideal candidate has 2–8 years of landscape architecture experience, strong design and communication skills, and knowledge of AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, and 3D modeling. Both in-office and remote collaboration are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture is preferred.
• 2-8 years’ experience in landscape architecture preferred.
• Professional registration or on track to receive is preferred.
• Team player with design, graphic, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of plants and landscape plans development.
• Experience with concept drawings, presentations, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and technical production of landscape plans (80-90%).
• Collaborate with project managers and team members across project types and scales.
• Prepare illustrative plans and 3D renderings; assist with cost estimates and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and external vendors; participate in construction administration.
