Job summary

Timmons Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Landscape Designer II/III for our Greensboro office. The role supports landscape architecture and land planning across commercial, parks, energy, campuses, and more, with mentorship and growth opportunities in a collaborative studio.

Candidate should be passionate about the built environment, comfortable in a team setting, and able to contribute from concept design through construction documents, with strong design and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture preferred; other accredited paths may be considered.
• 2-8 years of landscape architecture experience preferred.
• Registration or on track to obtain licensure preferred.
• Team player with strong design, graphic, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of plants and experience developing landscape plans.
• Experience producing construction documentation and specs; knowledge of QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and team members on various project types and scales.
• Assist with development of landscape plans through all design phases, from inventory to construction documents.
• Prepare illustrative design plans and 3D renderings as needed.
• Assist teams in preparing constructions estimates and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and external vendors throughout the process.
• Participate in construction administration and advocate for landscape architecture.
