RFCUNY is seeking an instructor for the College of Staten Island to teach two 45-minute modified courses for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role focuses on life skills, wellness, and self-advocacy within an inclusive college setting.

The Office of Community Educational Engagement (OCEE) is a central resource and bridge connecting the college and community. Our purpose is to prepare students to more fully participate and thrive through academic programs, supportive learning communities, and collaborations across campus and within the community.
Drawing from our deeply rooted history in disability rights, the OCEE’s Creative Exchange program is a community inclusion program serving adults over the age of 21 with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities. We provide skills training and unique learning experiences in and out of a college classroom for personal growth and self-empowerment that responds to the student's self-identified needs.
This position reports to the Assistant Director of Lifelong Learning and will plan and teach two, 45-minute modified courses on Adult Living Skills:

All appointments are subject to budgetary guidelines, fiscal constraints, a background check and satisfactory performance assessment with no presumption of retention.
Pay Range:
$40.45/hour
