Job Summary
This global destination management company l is seeking a Creative Strategy & Event Design Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Operations, vendors, and clients to develop innovative event concepts that elevate the attendee experience. You will lead the creative process from concept through presentation, ensuring designs are both visually compelling and strategically aligned with client goals.

Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with the Sales team across our 12 owned office locations to understand client objectives, budgets, and brand vision
- Lead the proposal processing in developing creative and strategic event concepts that align with client goals and target audiences
- Manage the design process from ideation through final presentation, including mood boards, copywriting, renderings, presentations, and budgeting
- Present creative concepts confidently during pitches and client meetings
- Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Apply pricing strategies that balance creativity with budget
- Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Partner with Operations teams to ensure supplier service levels meet or exceed expectations
- Lead creative projects, organize outreach, and oversee concept execution planning
- Maintain and update supplier, venue, and resource libraries
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and pricing models
- Ensure the delivery of polished, error-free creative concepts
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in destination management, agency, corporate event design, wedding planning, catering, production, or a related field
- Strong creative portfolio demonstrating design style and conceptual thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing proposals from concept through delivery, including creative design and budget considerations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva and Social Tables a plus
- Understanding of event design principles such as color theory, space planning, and visual communication
- Ability to enhance programs creatively with services such as transportation, staffing, tours, and dine-arounds
- Proven ability to work under pressure with sound judgment and professionalism
