Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in relevant field or equivalent
  • College-level teaching experience beyond graduate internships/assistantships
  • Entrepreneurial experience in a business or nonprofit setting
  • Experience with academic program management or equivalent administrative responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to support professional development of artists, designers, and diverse students

Responsibilities

  • Teach four courses per year (12 credits) in the Creative Entrepreneurship minor
  • Coordinate all operational aspects of the minor
  • Develop and refine new courses in consultation with faculty and staff
  • Lead recruitment and curriculum planning for First Year Fellows program
  • Develop partnerships with Baltimore community and RCCE teams to secure mentors and internships
  • Recruit, mentor, and advise students; hold office hours
  • Oversee budget related to the minor
  • Attend RCCE meetings and serve on advisory and grant committees
  • Lead hiring for courses in the minor program
  • Participate in major RCCE events such as UP/Start and Art Market
  • Contribute to cross-program collaboration and scholarship within the College
