Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art invites applications for a Full-time Faculty position and Program Director for the Minor in Creative Entrepreneurship. The role leads a team to develop courses, recruit students, and build partnerships within Baltimore’s creative economy.

The successful candidate will teach, manage the minor, and contribute to the RCCE’s initiatives with a strong emphasis on inclusive, student-centered pedagogy and real-world entrepreneurship in art and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• College teaching experience beyond graduate internships/assistantships.
• Experience in academic program management or equivalent administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach four courses per year (12 credits).
• Coordinate all operational aspects of the Creative Entrepreneurship minor.
• Develop and refine new courses with faculty input.
• Lead recruitment and curriculum planning for First Year Fellows program.
• Build partnerships with Baltimore community and RCCE teams.
