Description:

The Role
The Creative Director serves as the primary day-to-day creative leader. This role balances generating big ideas and managing teams, while also thinking operationally to optimize processes and workflows. The position is responsible for leading creative teams and projects to ensure they are on-time, on-budget, profitable, and meet client expectations. Additionally, it facilitates the corporate culture by maintaining communication among internal departments and employees.

This role reports directly to the CEO.

Both freelance and full-time candidates are considered.

How You’ll Contribute

  1. Pitch, ideate, and develop bold key art campaigns that elevate the client’s brand.
  2. Direct the development and execution of the creative process from concept to completion, introducing innovative methods.
  3. Lead projects from inception to completion, guiding the team to ensure effective execution.
  4. Provide creative direction, storytelling, and quality control over all concepts, projects, and content.
  5. Meet with clients and management to explain strategies and build relationships.
  6. Support business development with creative resources, pitches, and proposals.
  7. Ensure achievement of client KPIs and satisfaction.
  8. Use data to inform strategy and communicate insights to leadership.
  9. Support quality control and project reviews, advising on timelines and resources.
  10. Lead promotional and marketing efforts, including estimates and scope of work.
  11. Translate marketing objectives into creative strategies.
  12. Work with the CEO to develop company methodologies.
  13. Collaborate with project teams on deliverables.
  14. Manage brand standards including identity, style, and tone.
  15. Facilitate growth and identify opportunities.
  16. Assist project managers with creative references and feedback.
  17. Hire and mentor creative staff, fostering career development.
  18. Guide the creative team to develop innovative ideas across various media.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience as a creative leader in key art.
  • Experience managing and mentoring diverse creative teams.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of the business side of design.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Growth mindset and openness to mentorship.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good follow-through.
  • Multitasking ability under tight deadlines.
