Job Description

Based on the needs of assigned project, responsible for the creation and/or development and execution of creative content, direction, quality, and guest experience for assigned project. Responsibilities include establishing the creative “story,” collaborating with the IP holder, and directing project deliverables, process, and resources to define the project’s creative intent. Collaborates with the Art Director, Show Producer, and project team to develop and direct creative and design intent to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct efforts to conceive, develop, and define all creative aspects of assigned projects affecting guest experience, including exploring multiple options to determine the best project direction.
  • Oversee and direct the execution of all project elements to ensure alignment with guest experience intent and overall quality.
  • Act as “vision-keeper” for the project team, communicating, inspiring, and maintaining project intent among all members, and driving the story and creative evolution as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Show Producer to maintain and drive the creative design throughout all project phases.
  • Create and present project materials to internal and external audiences to communicate project concepts, content, and status.
  • Work with the Show Producer to identify and procure talent and resources needed for project completion.
  • Serve as project liaison with internal and external partners, licensors, and IP owners.
  • Understand and participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities following established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for directing teams of creative personnel such as writers, artists, directors, scenic designers, media producers, programmers, and graphic designers. Also responsible for managing outside vendors and consultants, and carrying out supervisory responsibilities according to organizational policies and applicable laws.
