Job summary

Turnitin, LLC is seeking a Creative Designer to join the Global Creative Services team. You’ll translate briefs into on-brand concepts for integrated campaigns, events, and branded communications across media.

Qualifications

• Degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years professional design experience, preferably in a digital agency or in-house team.
• Strong portfolio showing quality and diversity in design techniques and styles.
• In-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop; some experience with Premier and After Effects.
• Experience designing for multilingual campaigns.
• Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Slides and Docs).
• Motion graphics experience desirable but not required.
• Experience with CapCut and Canva is a plus.

• Design animation for social and video.
• Participate in brainstorming content ideas with the wider team.
• Confidently present ideas and rationale to clients.
• Review feasibility balancing innovation with time/resource constraints.
• Manage projects to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Maintain pixel-perfect attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Creative Designer is a key position in Turnitin's Global Creative Services team. This person reports directly to the Creative Design Manager but will also work with marketing teams and colleagues across the business. The position is responsible for taking briefs and developing on-brand creative concepts that can be executed as integrated marketing campaigns, event materials, and branded comms across all media.

This person partners closely with Designers & Copywriters (internally and externally employed) to develop the most effective ways to visually position products, services, and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Creative Design Manager and wider Global Marketing team to deliver new ideas and projects for both new and existing campaigns.

• Responsible for developing creative concepts and design that work across all media including digital banners, web, social media, print and video.

• Designing multilingual campaign assets.

• Ensure that all design work follows corporate guidelines.

• Design of icons, infographics, ebooks and photo retouching.

• Create, edit & export assets for web, product images, social posts.

• Designing animation for social and video.

• Participate in brainstorming content ideas as part of a wider creative team.

• Confidently present ideas to the customer and explain the rationale.

• Review project feasibility with an eye on balancing innovation with constraints on time and resources.

• Manage projects and ensure deadlines and SLA targets are hit.

• Precise attention to detail and pixel-perfect accuracy.

• Strong portfolio showing quality and diversity in the design techniques and styles you use.

• 3+ years successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or in-house team.

• Strong ability to organise and manage own workload, interpret briefs, and communicate with internal clients and stakeholders.

• Experienced in designing for multilingual campaigns.

• In-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. In particular, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, with some experience of Premier and After Effects.

• Good knowledge of Google workplace (Slides and Docs).

• Experience in the creation of motion graphics videos is desirable but not essential to the role.

• Experience in social editing platforms such as CapCut & Canva is a plus but not required.

• Degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or equivalent experience.
