Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate, Designer to sit within the in-house marketing team in Asset Management Marketing in Chicago. The role coordinates product materials updates with junior designers in Chicago and reports to the US Head of Design in New York.

Responsibilities span conceptualizing and producing high-quality visual assets that communicate market insights, products, and brand values, while balancing creativity with regulatory compliance and global brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional design experience, preferably within financial services, corporate marketing, or an agency environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Portfolio of designer's work as weblink or PDF is required.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; After Effects/Director preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for layout design and prototyping.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word for corporate templates.
• Exceptional attention to detail to handle complex financial data and regulatory disclosures.
• Strong organization with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience managing junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Intake & Maintenance: Manage update of Innovator ETF suite of materials and coordinate with channel and product marketing.
• Conceptualization & Ideation: Collaborate with marketing strategists to design campaigns, digital assets, and print collateral.
• Campaign Asset Creation: Design high-fidelity web banners, social graphics, and email assets for business focus campaigns.
• Infographics: Translate financial data and market insights into clear infographics.
• Motion design: Create short animated display ads or edit short talking-head videos.
