A leading nonprofit organization is seeking a Creative Designer to deliver high-quality designs supporting their mission. This role offers the chance to collaborate with diverse teams and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in design, particularly within a nonprofit setting. Remote work is available within the continental USA, with occasional travel to DC for meetings.

Required experience level: Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience working within a nonprofit organization in a staff role. This experience must include direct collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., program teams, leadership, development, and operations). Freelance or consulting experience alone will not be considered as equivalent; candidates must demonstrate sustained, in-house nonprofit experience.

Compensation: 65,000-75,000k/year
About RAINN: RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline, and carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Creative Designer to join our communications team at RAINN. The ideal candidate brings a strong, informed, and thoughtful creative perspective to every assignment. This person will be expected to deliver high-quality, visually compelling designs for a range of content and collateral in service of the organization’s mission and goals. They should be comfortable assessing the design needs of internal clients, managing multiple priorities, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the design process to set and meet reasonable deadlines and goals. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams and requires experience with a project management process to keep things moving and transparent, and a proactive approach to feedback and problem solving.

RAINN's headquarters are based in Washington, DC. This position may be based regionally for someone whose residence is within the continental USA. Although this may be a remote role, it may require some periodic business travel to our DC offices for onsite meetings and training sessions.
