Relatable is seeking a Creative Design Manager in New York to lead the graphic design team and drive brand storytelling across eCommerce, retail, and digital channels. You will personally own key projects while mentoring a team of designers, balancing creative quality with speed and operational efficiency.

The role requires 6+ years of design experience, leadership capabilities, and a strong portfolio. Expect a hands-on leadership position with design execution around 60% and team management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• 6+ years of professional graphic design experience in consumer products, retail, eCommerce, or marketing.
• 2+ years leading or managing graphic designers or creative teams.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute graphic design projects across eCommerce, digital, print, retail, and marketing channels.
• Develop Amazon PDP infographics, A+ Content, Brand Storefronts, and retailer assets to drive conversion.
• Partner with the eCommerce team to review performance and improve conversion through design iterations.
• Create sales and brand materials including catalogs, sell sheets, and presentations.
• Design DTC website assets, emails, digital ads, social graphics, PR mailers, and merch.
• Support international markets with localized artwork and regional adaptations.
• Own projects from concept to final production-ready artwork; ensure brand consistency.
• Use AI-powered tools and scalable templates to improve design quality and speed; build PDP/A+ templates in Figma.
• Collaborate with Photography, Video, Brand, and Product Development to translate positioning into visuals.
• Stay current on design trends and eCommerce best practices; mentor and develop designers.
• Establish performance standards and ownership; maintain file organization and DAM uploads.
