Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping.
• Safely uses utensils and operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Packages and portions food following established guidelines.
• Maintains food safety, sanitation, and clean work areas.
