Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team in the United States. You will cook and prepare a variety of dishes, set up your workstation, and ensure accurate food handling while following production guidelines and safety rules.

Work with fresh ingredients and equipment, exploring different cuisines and cooking techniques. This role emphasizes health-conscious preparation, teamwork, and maintaining excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience as a cook or in a related role
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and safety regulations
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
• Ensure security of company assets
• In order to meet commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice
