Responsibilities include preparing foods per recipes, setting up workstations, handling ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation methods and food safety regulations (e.g., handling, sanitation, storage).
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items.
• Safely use knives and other utensils; operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and apply diverse cooking methods as needed.
• Portion and garnish food per guidelines; store food per safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils; maintain guest service standards.
