Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life using fresh ingredients and diverse cooking styles. You will work with top equipment, follow production guidelines, and contribute creatively while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes preparing ingredients, setting up workstations, and delivering quality meals with excellent customer service in a team environment. Training and opportunity for skill growth are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
