Expect to prepare a variety of dishes, set up stations, measure ingredients, and operate ovens and mixers. The position prioritizes food safety and teamwork across shifts and client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Validated knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use different cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Properly store food by following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and co-workers.
