Aramark is seeking a Cook to prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and production guidelines, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. You will help create flavorful meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency and quality in every serving.

In this role you will set up workstations, measure and prepare ingredients, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean, organized space.

Qualificações

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and safety regulations (food handling, sanitation, storage).
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines.
• Stores food properly by following safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.
