Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life, work with fresh ingredients, and explore diverse cuisines. You will follow production guidelines, set up and prep stations, and ensure food safety and sanitation across all tasks.

This role requires experience in cooking and knowledge of safety standards. Strong math and communication skills are essential, with a focus on delivering quality meals and friendly service to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming and peeling.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and related equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and apply diverse cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish and portion food as per guidelines.
• Safely store food following food safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and food safety procedures.
