Job summary

Aramark is looking for a Cook to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. You will prepare a variety of meals, follow recipes, and contribute your creativity while maintaining safety and quality. Our production guidelines and equipment support your craft.

You will set up stations, measure ingredients, and use diverse cooking methods, all while delivering excellent service and upholding Aramark standards and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Cooks with diverse methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food safely per safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and protects company assets.
