Job summary

Congregation B’nai Amoona is seeking a Communications & Marketing Coordinator to tell the story of our community across digital, print, and media platforms. You will craft engaging emails, manage social channels, design visuals, and photograph events to highlight programs, people, and experiences.

This role collaborates with clergy and staff to ensure accurate, timely communications aligned with our brand and priorities, with some evenings and weekends for major programs and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent writer and editor with strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone.
• Creative communicator who can translate ideas into written and visual content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Draft and distribute the weekly e-newsletter and program emails.
• Develop a social media strategy and content calendar to drive engagement.
• Create visual materials for digital and print, and capture photography for events.
• Develop and distribute press releases and coordinate media relations.
• Collaborate with clergy, staff, and lay leaders to support communications needs.
