Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of cake decorating or related bakery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of icing, fondant, piping, airbrushing, and other decorating techniques.
• Strong artistic and creative skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods to company specifications and customer requests.
• Design and create custom cakes for birthdays, weddings, and special events.
• Maintain consistency in product appearance, flavor, and quality.
• Assist customers with orders, design ideas, and product selection.
• Ensure cakes and decorated items are properly displayed and merchandised.
• Rotate product and maintain accurate labeling to ensure freshness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area, tools, and equipment.
• Assist bakery team members with baking, packaging, and stocking as needed.
• Follow company food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Monitor inventory of decorating supplies and communicate needs to the Bakery Manager.
• Meet production and service deadlines to support customer demand and special orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Bakery Manager.
