Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Cake Decorator to create decorated cakes and desserts that look superb and taste great. You will finish icing, piping, and custom decor per recipes and decoration standards, while maintaining a clean work area and visually consistent display cases.

You will process customer orders, review details, and complete decorations to match specifications in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Clear communication when taking orders and details for custom requests.
• Experience with icing, piping, and finishing techniques for cakes.
• Familiarity with preparing icing, toppings, and decorative elements.
• Consistency in design, labeling, and presentation per order specs.
• Effective management of multiple orders while meeting timelines.
• Maintain visually consistent and well-stocked display cases.
• Ability to read order forms, tags, and production instructions.
• Comfort working with changing priorities and varied order volume.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and product handling requirements.
• Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs occasionally.
