Job summary

Target is hiring a Cake Decorator in the Food & Beverage area to create decorated cakes and cupcakes, assist guests, and help maintain bakery standards. You will follow production cards, ensure food safety, and deliver a welcoming, guest-first experience across all shifts.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with or without cake decorating experience. You will work with a friendly team, operate scanners, and adapt to a fast-paced store environment, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous cake decorating experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at various distances and initiate warm, helpful interactions.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Deliver cake decoration, labeling, and production per card specifications.
• Prep, ice and decorate cakes and cupcakes for the salesfloor according to seasonality.
