Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Cake Decorator at the Midland, TX location to deliver exceptional member service in the bakery area. You will collaborate with associates to produce high-quality decorative bakery items using decorating bags, tips, and nozzles, while ensuring safety and inventory controls.

You will leverage handheld tools to drive sales, assist members with purchases, and support training of teammates in decorating techniques and standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Acknowledges that trainings and assessments must be completed successfully

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to educate associates on tools, tasks and resources.
• Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of designs.
• Operate and sanitize equipment and maintain cold chain compliance and inventory management.
• Use handheld devices to drive sales and improve shopping experience.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues to meet member expectations.
• Support training, development and mentoring of others to foster teamwork.
