Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions and to maintain the cake case during shifts. You will manage dates, orders, and inventory while ensuring sanitation and quality standards.

The role offers potential cross-training in deli/bakery areas and a friendly team environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, creative, organized, and enjoy working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cake out-dates.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Decorate cakes and prepare icing, following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stock and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
