Job summary

Beauty and the Butcher in Coral Gables is seeking engaging bartenders to join our team. You will mix and serve traditional and creative cocktails, verify guest ages, and deliver exceptional hospitality while guests enjoy a vibrant atmosphere.

Responsibilities include processing payments, balancing cash receipts, building rapport with regular guests, and suggesting menu pairings. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, and you will receive ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing alcohol service.
• Expertise in mixology for traditional and creative cocktails.
• Understanding of flavor pairings to enhance guest experiences.
• Excellent hospitality and social perceptiveness.

Responsibilities

• Verify identification and age requirements of guests
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails
• Process payment from guests
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on guests' tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs during shift
• Build rapport with regular guests to create a positive atmosphere
• Previous Supervisory experience is a plus
