Job summary

Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY seeks a Creative Arts Therapy Clinical Supervisor to provide supervision to graduate students completing practicum and internship in the CMHP Clinic.

Responsibilities include supervising students, observing psychoeducational groups on-site at the Saltzman Community Services Center, and attending bi-monthly supervision meetings with the Clinic Director. Applicants should hold a NY license and have at least 5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in creative arts therapy.
• Current New York State Creative Arts Therapy License.
• At least 5 years’ experience supervising practicum students and interns in creative arts therapy.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records systems to review student clinician’s charts, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Description

To provide clinical supervision to Creative Arts Therapy graduate students who are completing their clinical practicum and/or internship in the CMHP Clinic.

• At least 5 years’ experience supervising practicum students and interns in creative arts therapy.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records systems for the purpose of reviewing student clinician’s charts, progress notes, and treatment plans.

• Art Therapy Credentialed Supervisor.

Salary/Salary Range $50.00 per hour
