Job summary

Rachel's Young At Art Studio is seeking an experienced preschool/early elementary teacher to lead camps and classes for ages 3–9. You will guide engaging, hands-on art activities with a supportive team of instructors, fostering creativity and positive social-emotional growth.

The role emphasizes classroom leadership, collaborative planning, and a warm, welcoming environment without the administrative demands of a traditional school.

Qualifications

• Lead camps, classes, and studio programming for children aged 3–9.
• Confidently manage groups of children, including transitions and engagement.
• Guide and delegate to supporting instructors and assistants.
• Prepare for and execute planned art projects, activities, and lessons.
• Contribute ideas for projects, themes, activities, and future programming.
• Assist with lesson planning and adapting activities for different ages.
• Communicate warmly and professionally with parents and caregivers.
• Help maintain an organized, welcoming studio environment.
• Be comfortable getting messy, being silly, and actively engaging with children.
• Be dependable, flexible, and able to adapt.
• Art experience is a plus, but you do not need to be an artist!
